Marches for Life in January- a success!

The Annual March for Life in ND took place this year on Sunday, January 20. Once again, we had a great turn-out and a wonderful response from out pro-life community right here in North Dakota! Msgr. James Shea of the University of Mary led opening pray for the event, and Msgr. Chad Gion led the closing prayer. Christopher Dodson of the ND Catholic Conference was our keynote speaker, covering the 40 year anniversary and congratulating the pro-life movement for still fighting hard after decades. The event began at St. Mary’s Central High School cafeteria in Bismarck with prayer, talks, and fellowship. After this gathering, many braved the weather to march around the capitol mall! Even the cold weather cannot stop hearts full of LIFE!

The National March for Life took place in Washington DC on Friday, January 25. There were well over 500,000 people in attendance this year, and many of them young faces! North Dakota had a good representation at the march, with our NDRL bus nearly completely full! Thank you to all for making the long trip and showing your dedication to life.

The eagerness to protect life was vibrant with this faithful crowd at the ND March for Life! We know that it is people like this that will help ND to be the first abortion-free state!
