Joshua 6:20 "So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down at..."
In September, 1986 at the offices of Dr. Richard Leigh in Grand Forks, a crowd of about 4,000, which had been silently praying, fell to their knees while trumpets blew. In January, 1987 at the Jamestown abortuary, thousands gathered to blow trumpets and cry out for abortion to end. Then in June, 1987 approximately 5,000 gathered to march around the Fargo Women's Health Clinic. Following each march, one by one, the abortion mills closed.
Only the Red River Women’s Clinic still stands, and it is time for their walls to come down. On May 7th 2011, NDRL will be sponsoring a Jericho march to close the last abortion mill in ND. We will meet at 10 am in the Great Northern Parking Lot on 5th St and 4th Ave N in downtown Fargo. Please join us for this very important Jericho march. With the Grace of God, the walls of abortion will collapse and abortion will become a sad chapter in our state’s history.
If you were one of the thousands who marched in 1986 and 1987, you know how powerful events like this can be, and how effective Jericho Marches are. For the lives of the innocent unborn, we ask you to come bring your friends and family, and join us in making ND the first abortion-free state in the nation.
