Sanctity of Human Life Sunday 2016
On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Churches around the United States gathered to celebrate God's gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting life at every stage. The proclamation of National Sanctity of Human Life Day has been heralded by National Right to Life as "a wonderful statement of what the pro-life movement is really all about."
